Teacher's Valentines

For Valentine's Day a few years ago, I made these decorated Hand Sanitizers.  Simple & cute, huh?  Well, I came across some of those rub-ons and decided to make another one for my daughter's 1st grade teacher.  Here's what I came up with:

We combined that with a few other goodies and had a fun gift for her teacher.

Then we put all of that in a customized gift bag - designed and colored by my daughter.  Love it!

I hope her teacher enjoyed it!

Valentine's Day Crafts for School

Better late than never! :)  I've been really busy the last few weeks and it has involved a lot of crafting!  I'm hoping to share everything I've been working on in the next few days/weeks.
So to start, here are the Valentine's treats that my daughter and I made for her 1st grade class.

We used the Sale-a-bration Stamp set Patterned Occasions (FREE with a $50 order until March 22).  I used a marker to ink up the words 'smarty pants' and the pants image while omitting the word 'congratulations'.  Then, using my Stamp-a-ma-jig (a MUST have in my opinion!!), I used the 'happy valentine's day' from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp set.

We put two packages of smarties candy in the 1" X 8" Cellophane Bag and added our stamped treat topper.

Here's my girl with her Valentine's goodies.  She was so excited to take these to school.  I'm SOOO grateful that not only does she like the ideas I have, but that she gets the pun and wants to help me make them all.   Gotta love that smile!

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day!

Cardstock:  Whisper White
Ink/Markers: Night of Navy, Real Red, Garden Green
Stamps:  Teeny Tiny Wishes, Patterned Occasions (SAB 2013)
Accessories: Stamp-a-ma-jig

Leadership 3-D Swap - Take Out Box

This was my favorite 3-D swap that I received at Leadership (sorry - I'm not sure who made it!).  I've been wanting to make a take-out box for quite some time.  I just loved everything about the box - the colors, the embellishments, everything!  It used some of the new Soda Pop Tops in the Spring Catalog along with a new stamp set (Collage Curious) and a Sale-a-bration set (Bloomin' Marvelous).

Of course, I had to make one of my own.  I used a video tutorial found here to get the correct cutting and scoring.  I used the same colors and basic design.  Since I didn't have the flower from Bloomin' Marvelous (yet!) I used the butterfly from the Collage Curious stamp set.  I used the Rock 'n Roll technique to get the butterfly multi-colored.  I also added some ribbon.  I was surprised at how easy you can smash the Soda Pop Tops in the Big Shot!  Just put the Soda Pop Top between 2 cutting pads and use no Tabs on the Multipurpose Platform.  Easy!

Cardstock:  Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red
Stamps:  Collage Curios
Accessories: Big Shot, Petal Cone Bigz L Die, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Real Red Ribbon (retired), Soda Pop Tops
Punches: 1-3/4" Scallop Circle, 1" Circle (inside Soda Pop Top),
