Teacher Christmas Gifts 2015

Happy New Year!
A few more Christmas ideas/gifts before the new Occasions catalog starts on Jan 5, 2016.  These were some of the gifts we gave to my kids teachers this year.  It included Wood Stamp Case Gifts, Gift Bow Die Angel Ornaments and Hand Santa-tizers.

I love making these hand Santa-tizers.  They're fairly easy, very inexpensive and super cute!

I've been packaging the teachers' gifts like this for the past few years.  I saw it on Pinterest and it seems to be even more popular this year.  There are many variations.  I use a retired snowflake die (cut in half) for the antlers.

Thanksgiving Turkey Mini Tic Tac Sliders

Here is the Thanksgiving version of the mini tic tac sliders I made to hand out.  I just fell in love with the idea as soon as I saw it!  Make sure to see my Christmas version, too.  I got the idea and video tutorial here

These mini tic tacs come in packs of 3 at the Dollar Tree.  What a quick and economical gift!  Not to mention ca-ute!

Reindeer Mini Tic Tac Sliders

I know I haven't posted in a LONG TIME, but I just had to share these adorable Mini Tic Tac Sliders!  I got the basic idea (with a video tutorial) from one of my new favorite blogs here.

These are great little gifts for my kids' teachers (along with other goodies that I plan to share later) and anyone else who might need a holiday pick me up!

The best part, for the engineer in me, is that you can get EIGHT of the boxes from ONE sheet of cardstock.  I did all of the embellishments with scraps.  BONUS!

Even though it's past Thanksgiving, I'll share the Thanksgiving version I did next!

Wood Stamp Case Convention Gifts

These little beauties were gifts for my roommates at Convention this year!  Yes, Convention was in July.  Yes, I'm WAY behind!  I know, I know...  :)

I came across the idea here and modified it by adding sticky notes.  I found these cute little pens on clearance at Staples.  Score!  And you can't forget chocolate - it goes with everything!

I'll be making more of these soon - I'm participating in a craft fair at my daughter's elementary school on November 15 and I think they'll sell.  What do you think?

Valentine's Day In Review - Part 2

As you can see, I've been in 'craft mode' recently.  The other Valentine's goodies I made can be found here.  So, once I finished all of the goodies for the kiddos, I started on goodies for the adults.
Aren't these cute boxes?  And I couldn't believe how easy and quick they were.  I made 5 from one sheet of cardstock!  These were perfect little gifts to fill with chocolate and give to some of the staff at my daughter's school.  Very fun!  I was inspired by Julie - again!

School Time - Teacher Book Mark

It's tradition in our family to give the new teacher a bookmark on the 1st day of school.  And these are my favorite bookmarks.  They are super easy and so pretty!

I added a note to my daughter's lunch for the 1st day, too.  I found these really cute ideas via Pinterest.

Here are my kiddos on the 1st day of school.  My little man still has a few years before he starts, but he really wanted to be in this picture!  :)

School Time - A to Z Teacher Gift

It's school time again!  My daughter started 2nd grade this week. Unbelievable!

For her 1st grade class, I was the room mom and coordinated an End of the Year Teacher gift.  I had a sign up for each letter of the alphabet and anyone who chose to participate could sign up for one (or several) letters and donate an item that coordinated with their letter.  Here's what we ended up with.  A basket o' goodies!  I had fun coordinating it and I believe the teacher loved digging in to see what we had come up with.  I found the idea on Pinterest and this site.

Not sure how to top this idea for this year!  :)
