Baby Logan Diaper Cake

It must be that time of the year!  I went to another baby shower recently and this was the gift that I took.  I'm really happy with the way this cake turned out.  This was the first time I added the name to the cake.  Nice touch, huh?  (It helps to KNOW the name prior to the shower!)  I think I'm going to add the name or some words from now on.  It's so easy to do with my Big Shot!

Here's the diaper cake all wrapped up.  My daughter was so excited to walk in to the baby shower with this gift.  She even wanted to carry it.  :)

I made a quick card to go with the gift.  Very easy and matches everything else.  Gotta love that!

Be sure to check out my other diaper cakes here and here!

Baby Boy Diaper Cake

I love making diaper cakes.  They are easy, have a big WOW factor and have very useful stuff in it that will definitely come in handy for any new mom.
I made this one for a baby shower a few months ago.  You can also see one that I made a few years ago here.

New Catalog Swap - Label Love Birthday

This is a card I made for a group swap using products from the New Catalog when it came out back in July.  I was challenging myself to make a masculine card.  Those are always hard for me.  How did I do?

I loved playing with all the new goodies!  I especially love that the Label Love stamp set can be purchased as a 'bundle' with it's coordinating punch at a 15% discount!  Woo Hoo!

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pool Party Core'dinations Cardstock, Epic Day This and That DSP
Ink: Crumb Cake
Stamps: Label Love
Punches:  Artisan Label Punch
Accessories:  Big Shot, Honeycomb Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Stampin' Sanding System

School Time - Teacher Book Mark

It's tradition in our family to give the new teacher a bookmark on the 1st day of school.  And these are my favorite bookmarks.  They are super easy and so pretty!

I added a note to my daughter's lunch for the 1st day, too.  I found these really cute ideas via Pinterest.

Here are my kiddos on the 1st day of school.  My little man still has a few years before he starts, but he really wanted to be in this picture!  :)

School Time - A to Z Teacher Gift

It's school time again!  My daughter started 2nd grade this week. Unbelievable!

For her 1st grade class, I was the room mom and coordinated an End of the Year Teacher gift.  I had a sign up for each letter of the alphabet and anyone who chose to participate could sign up for one (or several) letters and donate an item that coordinated with their letter.  Here's what we ended up with.  A basket o' goodies!  I had fun coordinating it and I believe the teacher loved digging in to see what we had come up with.  I found the idea on Pinterest and this site.

Not sure how to top this idea for this year!  :)
