Baseball Birthday 3X3

A fun, easy birthday card for my son's friend's birthday.  They're going to be playing on the same t-ball team this year so this was the theme we went with.

I like the greeting I came up with for the inside by putting two sentiments together.  Perfect for the occasion.

Birthday Celebrations

Not stamping related, but this is a fun tradition we've been doing for that last few years for when the kids wake up on their birthdays.  They have to bust through this when they come out of their bedrooms.  They look forward to it every year now!  This was my daughter's door on Superbowl Sunday.

I found this fun treat online and my daughter fell in love with the idea.  It was actually so easy that we made it for her classmates, basketball team, etc.  I found mini ice cream cones at the grocery store, put a regular size marshmallow in it, dipped it in melted chocolate and added sprinkles.  I was able to transport them all in a jalapeno popper holder/cooker.  Bonus!  A fun treat that was different than anything we'd taken to school before.  :)

Thank you Pinterest for these fun and easy ideas to make my kiddos birthday special!

Small Gift of Love

Great things come in little packages, right?  Well, this little package has some yummy goodies inside.  I handed them out last week for small Valentine's Day gifts.  Super easy to make and using only a 3"x6" paper, you can make a lot from 1 sheet of DSP in no time at all.  I used the tutorial found here

Enjoy!

4th Grade Valentines 2016

My daughter loves puns, so this was a fun one to put together for her.  It was pretty easy, too, thanks to a pdf I found online.  I just printed it, cut it out, taped the Blow Pop to the back and added some curling ribbon.

Thank goodness it was easy.  We had a lot going on and had quite a few to make!
Hope your Valentine's Day was wonderful!

Preschool Valentines 2016

Happy Valentine's Day!
These are the Valentines that my 4 year old took to school for his classmates on Thursday.  It's an oldie but a goodie for our family - I made these for my daughter's preschool classmates as seen here.

I used a favorite stamp set from the 2015 Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog to add a few coloring sheets to go along with the crayon.

Everything packaged up!

My little guy writing his name for the back of each gift.

He was pretty excited to take these to school!

Stay tuned for my daughter's class Valentines!

Another Happy Card

I told you that you'd see this layout again!  In fact, this card came before the one I shared earlier.  I totally CASED this from my friend Bonnie.  I LOVED what she did - I just changed the colors and a few minor details.

This picture really shows off the Specialty Designer Paper with pre-embossed designs.  I just sponged over the designs in the color I wanted to use.  Easy Peasy!

Snickers Birthday Cake

The principle at my daughter's elementary school had a milestone birthday last year.  Each class was assigned an item and were giving her SIXTY of that item.  My daughter's class was tasked with giving her SIXTY SNICKERS.  The teacher asked if I could come up with a creative way to present the Snickers and this is what I came up with!  What do you think?

It's similar to, but MUCH bigger than, this Nugget Cake I made for a teacher a few years ago.  I had asked for the kids to bring snack sized bars, but I got a variety of sizes, so I added them anywhere I could!

A view from the top!  That's a lot of candy!
I used the same process as I do when I make a diaper cake.  See all of my diaper cakes HERE, HERE and HERE.

Paper Purse Gifts

Aren't these purses fun?  I'd come across the idea somewhere online (and loosely used this video tutorial as a guide) and made a whole bunch of these for my stamping friends.  I added a few goodies to the bag and it made a fun gift.

Here's the whole group in different colors.  They really standout with the black and white DSP!

Happy Cards

Here's a group of 'Happy' Cards that I made for swap awhile back.  This is one of my FAVORITE layouts.  You probably definitely will see this layout again.

What I love about this design is that you can replace the 'Birthday' with just about any phrase from the Crazy about You stamp set/bundle.  Very Versatile!

I'm playing catch up on a bunch of projects I did last year and never posted.  I hope you enjoy them!
Have a great weekend!

Teacher Christmas Gifts 2015

Happy New Year!
A few more Christmas ideas/gifts before the new Occasions catalog starts on Jan 5, 2016.  These were some of the gifts we gave to my kids teachers this year.  It included Wood Stamp Case Gifts, Gift Bow Die Angel Ornaments and Hand Santa-tizers.

I love making these hand Santa-tizers.  They're fairly easy, very inexpensive and super cute!

I've been packaging the teachers' gifts like this for the past few years.  I saw it on Pinterest and it seems to be even more popular this year.  There are many variations.  I use a retired snowflake die (cut in half) for the antlers.
