Super Sparkly Flower Card

I got the idea for this card at the San Antonio Regional (more info on this card can be found here).  I love it because it sparkles so much!  It's such an easy technique that I had never thought of before.  Basically, I stamped the flower image from the Mixed Bunch stamp set on Whisper White Cardstock.  I covered the image with Multipurpose Adhesive sheets then used the coordinating Blossom punch to punch the image out.  Remove the adhesive backing and cover in glitter.  Super easy and such a big WOW!  The colors are from the Color Coach - Blushing Bride, Perfect Plum & Sahara Sand.

We made this card at one of my new Monthly Card Classes.  We make 3 each of 3 different designs for a total of 9 cards.  Contact me if you are interested in this class and I'll get you more information!  The next class is Thursday, May 31.  I'll be posting more cards from the class in the future!
Happy Stamping!

Another Quick 3X3 Card

Quick 3X3 Card

I made this card for my daughter's 6th birthday.  I was short on time and made 2 different cards - one from myself and her dad (will post that one soon) and then this one from her baby brother.  It was quick and easy and came out pretty cute (at least I think so!).

Cardstock: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, DSP

Mixed Bunch Rolo Flowers

This was a fun and easy treat to make with my group and my daughter.  I've seen it on several blogs, but here's the one I saw first and bookmarked.   I've since seen some that used the Blossom Punch to punch out the leaves too and I really like that idea.  I used the Modern Label Punch for these leaves.  The Rolo candies attach easily with a Mini Glue Dot.  There's nothing I like more than stamping gifts made with candy!

Stamps:Mixed Bunch
Inks: Regal Rose
Cardstock: Whisper White, Regal Rose, Old Olive
Punches: Blossom, Modern Label

Happy Birthday Miss Phillips!

My daughter's kindergarten teacher's birthday is today.  We had a great time making this gift together.  She LOVES when she gets to use 'mommy's' stuff.  She even picked her teacher's favorite colors - TCU's colors - for the gift.  We also included wrapped chocolates for a weight inside the vase.  I sure hope Miss Phillips likes it!

Have a great day Miss Phillips!

Leadership 2012 Roommate Gift

Here it is (finally)!  A matching gift set for my roommate and downline who attended the Leadership Conference and/or Regional in San Antonio, TX in January.  I had such a great time and learned so much.

Here I am with a very special little person that went with me to San Antonio.  He was such a trooper (and a BIG time flirt)!

Kindergarten Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day!

We must love these heart crayons!  We made them again for my daughter's classmates this year.  We packaged them different from last year, though.  I found a great saying - "Happy Valentine's Day, For 'crayon' out loud".  My daughter (6 yrs) thought it was 'hilarious'.  I just love her sense of humor.

I made labels with 'to/from' on them and she addressed them to her classmates and signed them.  We put that label on the back side (not shown).

We also made a batch of 'Smartie' Butterflies, too. These are similar to the ones made here.  Some of our family friends that we give Valentine's to have already received the heart crayons, so we sent them something different.  I used some 'spring-like' paper that I had in my stash.  What a happy collection of butterflies!

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
