Fancy Favor Turned into a Box - Part 2

THIS is the box that was chosen for a Stamp Camp project.  We were looking for bolder colors and this fit the bill.

For the outside of the box, I just used DSP and the Fancy Favor Die with the Big Shot.  Below are the directions that I used for the inside part that slides into the Fancy Favor to complete the box.  They are based on the directions we got at Leadership.  However, when I actually did the cutting/scoring for this part of the box, I used a 8-1/2 X 11 sheet and adjusted each of the vertical score lines to the left by 1/4".

Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Big Top Birthday DSP
Ink: Real Red
Stamps:  Mixed Bunch
Accessories: Big Shot, Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die, Designer Buttons (Brights), White Baker's Twine, Real Red Satin Ribbon

Fancy Favor Turned into a Box - Part 1

This is a project that is similar to one we did at Leadership in San Antonio earlier this year.  I LOVE 3-dimensional projects and especially ones that are EASY.  This version was a sample that I made for some ladies to vote on for a Stamp Camp I was involved in.  This version did not make the cut, but come back soon to see what did!

Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (SAB), Peach Parfait
Ink: Pool Party
Stamps:  Fresh Vintage
Accessories: Big Shot, Fancy Favor Bigz XL Die, Brad
Punches: 1-1/4" Circle, Blossom

Fresh Vintage Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are never fun to have to use but are always good to have on hand.  We did this simple, yet elegant card at one of my card classes.   It's a great way to use the Fresh Vintage stamp set if you got it FREE during Sale-a-bration.  The Whisper White textured background can be changed using any of our embossing folders.  For this card, I used the Texturz plates that are now retired.
Tip:  For the Elegant Eggplant frame, I cut the same size framelits in both Whisper White (after I stamped the image, so I could line it up) and in Elegant Eggplant.  I cut the Elegant Eggplant one in half and then separated and attached it to the Whisper White piece.  Then I trimmed the edges that peeked out from the top and bottom.

Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Ink: Elegant Eggplant
Stamps: Fresh Vintage (SAB 2012), Loving Thoughts
Accessories: Big Shot, Texturz Plates (retired), Labels Collection Framelits

Be sure to check my Events page for information on my Monthly Card Classes.  I'm also starting a new Stamp Club this month and have a few spots left.
I am planning several new classes in the next few months including an 8x8 scrapbook class and Christmas card classes.  I hope to see you at some of my events!
