Baby Shower Lambs

This sweet sheep/lamb is one of the most popular posts on my blog.  I was asked last week to make 175 of these for a baby shower and to make them appropriate for a boy.  Here's what I came up with!

Here's part of the process of how I put them all together.  I shipped them flat (to be assembled later) so they would survive in the mail.  Do you like how I used my Tupperware divided dish to separate out the different pieces?

Paper: Whisper White, Basic Gray , assorted colors of scrapsAccessories: Big Shot, Two Tags Die, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
Punches: Scallop Circle, Large Oval, Boho Blossoms, Two-Step Owl (for nose), Word Window, Merry Minis Punch Pack

Birthday Cash with a Twist

I don't know about you, but I have such a hard time shopping for boy birthday gifts - probably because I have a very girly girl. Well, I was invited to a birthday party this weekend for a boy who was turning eleven and although I had already decided that money would be the gift, I didn't just want to put some cash in an envelope. I wanted to do something different. So, I poked around on Splitcoaststampers.com and found this great idea.

I just wrapped dollar bills around chocolate nuggets. I put the dollar nuggets in a bag with some crimped paper and tied it with some twine. I put the whole bag in a gift bag with tissue paper.

Kinda fun, huh? What do you think? At least it's better than a boring envelope!

Graduation Card Money Holder

Sorry for the long delay! I didn't have much computer access over the last week.
I made this card for my cousin who recently graduated from college. I loved that it fit perfectly in Stampin' Up!s small open ended envelopes. I actually started with the measurements of the envelopes (6 3/4" X 3 1/2") and worked backwards to determine the measurements of each piece of cardstock while making sure it could still hold the money. You can't see it real well in the picture, but there is a 6 1/2" X 3 1/4" piece of Night of Navy cardstock behind the Whisper White tri-fold.
